Kein Welding Helps Out Habitat For Humanity
On June 8, 2018 KEIN Welding & Fabrication Ltd. was proud to sponsor a Habitat for Humanity build day.
The house is being built for a well deserving family in Hamilton Ontario. Habitat for Humanity Hamilton began construction of a prefabricated steel home on Wilson Street. This is a pilot project featuring the effectiveness of using steel and prefabrication for fast and affordable home construction. Using steel construction is the first of its kind in the area.
KEIN being a welding and fabrication company, couldn’t have been happier to assist with the build. KEIN Welding & Fabrication Ltd. is a local millwright contractor & metal fabricator focused on servicing customers in the southern Ontario area. We provide millwrighting services, shop fabrication in steel, stainless, and aluminum, mobile welding, trailer repairs, and plant maintenance by qualified personnel.
Our company was well represented by not only our skilled tradesman but also by a couple great volunteers that wanted to make a difference for this family.
When Gordon Seehaver (President of KEIN Welding & Fabrication Ltd.) presented the idea to the staff; Everyone was excited to participate and eagerly offered to donate their time.
“I have always wanted to take part in a Habitat for Humanity Build and when we had the opportunity to sponsor a build day with our team; we jumped at it!” said Gordon Seehaver. “What an excellent opportunity to give back to the community that has been so good to us”.
KEIN hopes to make this an annual event and has great admiration for this worthwhile cause. While on the build site; Gordon Seehaver met with Sean Ferris, Executive Director for Habitat for Humanity Hamilton and pledged continued support for future builds.
All of us at KEIN would like to thank Habitat for Humanity Hamilton for the wonderful day we had onsite.
